SUPER SATURDAY, the tenth (and arguably the most important) race in the 2018 edition of the Dubai World Cup Carnival takes place at Meydan on Saturday 10 March 2018.
The major prep for Dubai World Cup day is the Super Saturday meeting and allows trainers to put the finishing touches to their equine stars before appearing on racing’s biggest stage: Dubai World Cup day.
As the official dress rehearsal for the Dubai World Cup it is a major social occasion.
Hosted by Dubai Racing Club, the Dubai World Cup Carnival is a great night out for the whole family.
Dubai World Cup Carnival
The Dubai World Cup Carnival, worth more than US$10 m in prize money across 10 race meetings, runs from January to March every year.
It is a season of high-class international race days contested by the most high-profile owners, trainers, horses and jockeys in the world.
It runs alongside the domestic Racing at Meydan season.
The Dubai World Cup Carnival leads to the season-ending Dubai World Cup day, the richest day of racing in the world.
And as with all racing events there is a ticket category for everyone from free general admission (no alcohol can be bought in this area) all the way up to Deluxe Grandstand Suites for AED 595 per person.
General Admission
This free admission area gives access to a limited section within the Meydan Grandstand with a large number of Grandstand seats available boasting excellent views.
With sufficient room on the vast apron area between the track and the Grandstand, visitors on the sides of the apron can get a close view of the thoroughbreds in the Parade Ring, before and after the race.
A variety of food and beverage outlets are available on the Mezzanine Level in the purpose designed food court area offering dining tables.
All food and drinks on the premises can be purchased from one of the many outlets within the Meydan Grandstand.
Please note that alcoholic beverages are not available for purchase in this area. Visitors are not permitted to bring their own food and beverages.
The Premium
The Premium offers stunning views of the race track, Parade Ring and the finish line.
Guests can soak up the exhilarating atmosphere in this alfresco area from the comfort of their seats. Food and beverages are available from the kiosks strategically placed at the entrance to The Premium.
Guests can enjoy light snacks from the comfort of their seats without missing the horseracing action.
The food and beverage kiosks open 30 minutes before the first race.
Parade Ring Restaurant
This area, spanning two levels of the mezzanine and ground floor, is adjacent to the Parade Ring. Enjoy close-up views as the horses parade on their way to posts or get close to the action on the Parade Ring Lawns.
The Parade Ring Restaurant ticket provides guests with entry to the facility and for additional cost racegoers can order delicious pub-style food from the a la carte menu and sip on their favourite beverages while watching the action on flat-screen televisions.
There is no table reservations in this area.
Entry for 12 years of age and older only (proof of identity is required). Ticket holders also have access to The Premium.
