The Indian Classical Festival is organized in association with Rajalakshmi Fine Arts.
Rajalakshmi Fine Arts was founded in 2003, by Dr. Sathish Kumar, a Specialist General & Laparoscopic Surgeon and a disciple of Carnatic Music who believes in the healing power of classical music.
Rajalakshmi Fine Arts, has been actively involved in promoting classical arts. RFA organizes classical music concerts on a monthly basis and the famous ‘September Season’, an annual celebration of music, dance and lecture-demonstrations.
This festival has changed the way the textile town of Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu, India) perceived Carnatic music.
With more than five editions ’September Season’ runs for almost a fortnight, handles about 50 artists and is always packed with audience.
Over the years, Rajalakshmi Fine Arts’ show has evolved as a full fledged festival showcasing the greatest music maestros and artists of India.
