Iyad Rimawi Love Letters from Damascus 2020 at Dubai Opera on Thursday 11 & Friday 12 February 2021.


After his sold-out concert in Dubai in 2018, Iyad Rimawi is back in Dubai to perform for the first time at Dubai Opera.

He will perform his hit compositions such as Alnadam, Rouge, Godfather and for the first time on stage Alharamlek and Masafit Aman.

A musically genius composer, Rimawi, was born and raised in Damascus, Syria.

His melodious and touching scores have a unique fusion of oriental and classical elements combined with modern vibes.

Rimawi has created some very unforgettable themes that have aptly gained him the title of one of the most talented Arab composers of contemporary times.

He was the first-ever Arab artist to sign with SONY Music Middle East in 2012, for his first solo album, ‘Tales from Damascus’.

The album was a beautiful compilation of some of his best title themes and songs and instantly reached number tw in the VIRGIN megastores Middle East chart.

His second solo album, ‘Silence in Syria’ (released in 2016), went straight to the number one spot in VIRGIN Middle East Chart. The album held its number one position for 3 months in a row, an exceptional event in the Arab music scene.

His third album, ‘Damascus Now’, achieved the same success as his previous two albums.

Bars open 2 hours before the show begins.
- Doors open 30 minutes before the show begins.
- Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break.
- Any use of mobile phones, cameras and other electronic devices inside the auditorium is strictly prohibited.
- All Boxes are General Admission, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats cannot be reserved before arrival.
- VIP Boxes have fixed seating. All other Boxes have loose chairs.

If you are driving and plan to self-park, there are underground parking spaces available.
- Paid parking spaces in very close proximity to Dubai Opera are available at Green Parking.
- Green Parking is a flat rate of AED 40 per visit starting from 2 hours before the show.
- You can access the P3 underground parking entrance on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, the entrance to the underground parking is located just after the Dubai Opera hashtag on the right.
