Warehouse Four presents Mandy Knight The Dark Knight at Warehouse Four on Wednesday 30 October 2019.
In 2018 Mandy Knight returned to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe after a twenty year hiatus, with a show that was simply her best work to date.
The production, The Dark Knight, was a spectacular personal journey of discovery on why she has to make the unspeakable, hysterical.
It is no wonder the Comedy Store recently wrote "She's the act that loves nothing better then putting a little bit of wrong in your ear."
After spending the last 18 months touring the world, the multi-award winning comedian Mandy Knight is now bringing her critically acclaimed show, 'The Dark Knight' to Warehouse Four!
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Everyone has their calling.
For Mandy Knight it’s comedy.
"It's called The Dark Knight because it’s an examination of how dark humour has always been my default setting when things have been tough. My father was killed in a car crash when I was 5 and my alcoholic mother disappeared one day so, I was taken into a children’s home – but it’s not all been laughs. Some things in my life have been difficult. Things like having to cope with my Mother-in-law living with us for 7 weeks!
I've gigged at every major Comedy Club worldwide and as an MC I’m renowned for “taking no prisoners.” The show Chronicles from an early age how I used humour to get me through everything and how it has made me the comic (and person) I am today. I don’t punch up or down, I just punch.” - Mandy Knight
