Music in the Studio 2020: Gary Ryan at Dubai Opera on Wednesday 26 February 2020.
British guitarist Gary Ryan has won international critical acclaim for his exceptional technical control, musical insight and entertaining recital programmes.
He is also well known for his highly innovative guitar compositions and was awarded a prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Music, London, by HRH Prince Charles in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the international musical world.
The programme for Music in the Studio will feature works by Micheal Praetorius, John Dowland, Johann Sebastian Bach, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Roland Dyens and Leo Brouwer alongside Gary Ryan’s compositions and some arrangements of folk tunes from various countries.
Join us for an elegant evening of classical guitar music by one of the world’s most renowned guitarists.
Curated by internationally renowned pianist Amira Fouad, Music in the Studio is set in Dubai Opera’s acoustically flawless studio, allowing for a more atmospheric experience between the musicians and their audiences.

- Doors open 30 minutes before the show begins.
- Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break.
- Any use of mobile phones, cameras and other electronic devices inside the auditorium is strictly prohibited.
If you are driving and plan to self-park, there are underground parking spaces available.
- Paid parking spaces in very close proximity to Dubai Opera are available at Green Parking.
- Green Parking is a flat rate of AED 40 per visit starting from 2 hours before the show.
- You can access the P3 underground parking entrance on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, the entrance to the underground parking is located just after the Dubai Opera hashtag on the right.
