Safar-e-Ishq A Journey of Love comes to The Junction on Friday 23 March 2018.
Suraj Bhartti is a third generation protégé from his musical family. His grandfather Shri Anand Kumar C. was a legendary singer having won "Dadasaheb Phalke Award".
His father is one of the most prominent and world renowned devotional singer Shri Shailendra Bhartti and his uncle Shri Devendra Bhartti is a par excellent Tabla maestro who has been accompanying some legendary artists like Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Suresh Wadkar, Sukhwinder Singh, and many more.
Suraj being into the same field has been creating his mark on his own capabilities and talent.
He has lent his voice for various Bollywood films like Sixteen & Dushman.
He has sung jingles for few corporate houses like Airtel, Vodafone, Tata , T-Series, and few others.
He has been a part of few remarkable events like Times of India Property Show where the mayor of Mumbai was the chief guest, Times of India Fresh Face, Kingfisher Backstage, Independence Day show for Indian Navy, and many more.
He has also shared the stage with some prominent artists from the Musical Industry like Kavita Seth, Pt. Anand Kumar C., Shailendra Bhartti, Pralay Band and few others.
He is also been awarded by two gold medals by Mumbai University for his par excellence in singing. He has also won "Excellence in Music" and "Best Instrumentalist" by Manan Prakashan Publications.
He has also been interviewed and featured by some popular radio stations like Radiocity and Radio Mirchi and his songs still play on the radio stations.
His presence is globally available through YouTube where you can hear him singing some really soulful songs which are covers as well as his own compositions.
Apart from singing he himself is a one man army where he writes, composes and even produces his own songs and if needed he plays also various instruments like keyboard, piano, drums, djembe, tabla, and so on.
His journey into music has been for more than 15 years and is also into imparting knowledge of Hindustani Music for Shankar Mahadevan Academy in Dubai.
The evening will also feature Sancharee Saha.
