Syrian band Safar will present an enchanting concert at Dubai Opera on Friday 10 September 2021.
Performing their acclaimed repertoire of original songs and a selection of beloved traditional Syrian songs.
Organised by Arabian Entertainment House, Dubai audiences can expect an evening of magic to the tunes of traditional folk songs like (Ya Bo Rdayeen) as well as songs from Safar’s acclaimed albums “Experience Number One” and “Experience Number Two”, characterised by their simplicity that touched the hearts of millions.
The journey of Safar started in 1999, initially under the name “Muhajirin”.
However, in 2001 the band adopted a new name, ‘Safar’, after participating in many concerts and festivals in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Their musical career was interrupted from 2004 until 2015 due to its members’ displacement until founding members Shadi Al-Safadi and Wafi Al-Abbas decided to relaunch it and create a unique artistic identity.
Safar’s hit songs garnered millions of views on YouTube (4,419,053 views) including their song (Yaweel Weely) from their second album, “Experience Number Two”, which exceeded three million YouTube views and is now trending on social media.
The song’s video clip was filmed without electricity and with elementary equipment reflecting the hardship faced by millions of Syrians.
In this concert, Safar will perform acclaimed songs such as “Ya Muashaha”, “Henna”, “Rajeen”, “Rooh”, “Ya Leil” and “Mnzo Al Azal” from the album “Experience Number One”.

- The Opera Cafe opens two hours before the performance.
If you are driving and plan to self-park, there are underground parking spaces available.
- Paid parking spaces in very close proximity to Dubai Opera are available at Green Parking.
- Green Parking is a flat rate of AED 40 per visit starting from 2 hours before the show.
- You can access the P3 underground parking entrance on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, the entrance to the underground parking is located just after the Dubai Opera hashtag on the right.
Refunds/ exchanges are not permitted under any circumstance.
- This includes, but is not limited to, change in personal circumstances, sickness, travel restrictions, or any circumstances related to Covid-19 which might prevent you from attending.
- For specific performances (e.g. Concerts), all ticket holders will be required to show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination to attend.
