House of Afrika & JK58.co are thrilled to present the first 2018 edition of The Big BBQ Social at Jumeirah Creekside on Friday 27 April 2018.
Round up the whole family (fur-babies included) for a day of fun in the sun as the sweet smoky smell of BBQ fills the air at The Secret Garden, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.
Whether you like your pork pulled or your meat rubbed, everyone is welcome to fire up his or her own style of BBQ at one of the communal wood and charcoal BBQ stations setup on the green grass.
There will be a gourmet butcher on site for supplies, and a designated non-pork area to grill.
Guests are welcome to bring their own meat or purchase it from N&R Butchery on the day and cook up a storm. For those who’d rather just chill, there will also be a menu available that has been cooked by the specialists.
Kids will have their plates full with plenty of games, arts & crafts, and live entertainment to keep them busy throughout the day.
Parents can leave their Mini Grill Masters in the safety of the onsite nursery to take a break, and enjoy a cold beverage at this fully licensed event.
Pets will be in Doggo Heaven playing by your picnic blanket or left to make new fur-riends in the supervised doggie Play Zone.
Animal lovers and children are welcome to play with the cute puppers looking for a “Furever home” in the Rescue Zone.
There will also be a Pamper Zone where you can reward your little floofers (good boys only).

You are welcome to bring picnic blankets, camping chairs, umbrellas, sports balls & games
- Be sure to marinade your meat/BBQ packs in advance at home
- No other beverages, snacks, salads & food will be allowed into the venue
- You will NOT be allowed past security with your own beverage…leave it to the after party!
Dogs are Allowed.
- Please make certain that your owner is always on a leash and is properly trained to pick up after you, otherwise, they will be frowned upon and will sleep in the dog house
- Refrain from bringing your toys to avoid any bickering with other dogs who might get jealous. Besides, you need to stay focused on that BBQ!
- Size Matters: The first event welcomes small to medium sized, socialized dogs only
- Band breads and muzzled dogs will not be permitted.
- Vaccine records and municipality tags will be required to register and enter with your pooch.
- If you’re the loudest at the party or don’t get along too well with others, please keep in mind this is a social event and we want everyone to feel comfortable, including the humans.
