The Irish Village presents ex-Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow live at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Thursday 19 April 2018.
Marti Pellow will be forever known as the hearthrob lead singer of the hughely successful Eighties pop band, Wet Wet Wet.
Bursting onto the scene in 1987, the band scored three UK number one singles ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ (1988); ‘Goodnight Girl’ (1991); and ‘Love Is All Around’ (1994) which featured in smash hit film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.
The single still holds the record for third highest consecutive weeks at the top of the UK singles charts, having spend 14 weeks in the number one spot.
Having sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featured in the UK official singles and album charts for an immense 510 weeks, the band played to more than four million people in over 25 countries around the world.
Pellow announced that he was leaving Wet Wet Wet in 2017 to focus on his solo career and annunced a solo UK tour in 2018, The Private Collection Tour.
The Tour celebrates 30 years in the industry, including number one and hit singles from his many albums as both a solo artist and with Wet Wet Wet.
