It would not be October without a Halloween edition of The Laughter Factory and this month is titled You Are Going To Hell! with Markus Birdman, Andrew Ryan and Carey Marx.

Markus Birdman
A leader on both the UK and international live comedy circuits, Markus Birdman receives regular invites to headline at the coveted Comedy Store and has consistently delighted audiences around the globe with sell out shows at the Edinburgh, Adelaide, Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy Festivals.
Still a stand up pro, Markus has recently combined his passion for art with comedy and debuted his first solo show featuring hand drawn gruesome fairy tales to critical acclaim at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe, earning a nomination for ‘Best Show’ from Amused Moose and a plethora of four and five star reviews across the board.
He’s also a radio regular having appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5Live, BBC Radio Wales and has made numerous appearances on Comedy Central’s ‘Live at the Comedy Store’.
Andrew Ryan
Irishman Andrew Ryan is one of the most exciting talents in recent years; in demand as an act and an MC at the biggest comedy clubs across the UK & Ireland.
Andrew’s quintessentially Irish storytelling abilities and cheeky, friendly demeanour make him a natural observational stand up.
He performed his debut hour show ‘Ryanopoly’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, receiving rave reviews and in May 2014 he returned with his latest show ‘The Life of Ryan’ playing to packed out rooms and took his new show ‘Ruined’ back again in 2016.
He has performed stand-up on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Best of the Edinburgh Festival Live on BBC3, Live at The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, and Live for MIND on Comedy Central.
Carey Marx
Carey Marx is writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s Intensive Carey, twice winner of Best International Show at the New Zealand Comedy Festival, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show nominee.
Carey took his new show, The Afterwife to Edinburgh this year - his marriage had just crumbled and he found himself single at the age of 50.
In this savagely introspective show, he tries to come to terms with failure, disappointment, enthusiasm and freedom. Carey’s cynicism becomes inextricably married to dark cold reality.
But don’t fear, nothing is too dark, cold or real for Carey.
A circuit veteran, Marx concocts his own blend of dark humour with mischief and glee.
His wilful disregard for the controversial and taboo is tempered with his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places.
