Dubai Concert Committee kick starts Dubai’s classical concert season presenting one of the most prestigious international cellists - István Várdai in the magical Royal Ballroom, One & Only Royal Mirage on Saturday 14 September 2019.
Experience the legendary master of Cello for the opening of Dubai’s classical concert season 2019/20!
István Várdai
István Várdai has been honored with several prestigious international prices: starting in 2014 he won the prestigious ARD Competition in Munich, shortly after the Junior Prima Prize, Prix Montblanc, Coup de Coeur Breguet, 3rd in the Tchaikovsky Award, to name a few.
And played alongside world-famous musicians and orchestras including Mikhail Pletnov, Ádám Fischer, Zoltán Kocsis, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, The Mariinsky Orchestra, L'Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, etc.
Without a doubt, his excellence has been supported by the ultra-unique Cello 'Ex du Harrell' which stradivari built in 1673.
We are very excited for this fantastic evening - an ideal marriage between virtuoso and instrument.
