Uzbek and Central Asian performer, Yulduz Usmonova gives a one-off concert in Dubai’s Jumeirah Madinat Theatre on Friday 13 October 2017.
Voice of Central Asia is a live concert by renown traditional Uzbek singer Yulduz Usmonova.
In this show she will perform live pieces written and composed by the singer herself.
Yulduz Usmonova is a merited artist with an Honorary Artist of Uzbekistan for her contribution to the cultural development and art.
Her work represents social, philosophical context of the personal development and broader issues and aspirations.
Yulduz Usmonova's concerts follow a similar format, with half the program dedicated to traditional folk as well as contemporary excerpts and the other half to lighter fare.
It is in popular songs that Ms Usmonova excels, her warm, expressive voice eliciting an emotional response from listeners.
She will be accompanied by her band of musicians and performers. The visual effects included dramatic lighting that encompassed the whole arena projected onto a stage.
There will be traditional dance performance elements as well such as a professional dance performer as a backdrop scene in some songs.
