In addition to its offering of ‘traditional event management services’, in July 2010, DONE Events announced its MENA Region partnership with US based venue manager and event promoter AEG Live.
Now entering the realms of concert promotion, live entertainment and talent brokerage, DONE Events has added a further string to its already comprehensive turnkey offering.
AEG Live is a subsidiary of Anschutz Entertainment Group, one of the leading providers of live entertainment and sports in the world. It has international reach ranging from venue and sports management (London’s O2 Arena, the Los Angeles Staples Center, Los Angeles Galaxy, Davis Cup Tennis) to artist management and concert tours (Paul McCartney, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Justin Beiber).

Live Entertainment
In 2013 Done Events produced and delivered some of Dubai’s most memorable concerts including the sold out Bruno Mars concert which saw the team winning three awards for best concert including Ahlan Best in Dubai, What’s On Favourite Concert and a Time Out Night Life Award.
Other 2013 shows featured a diverse range of concerts from The Stone Roses, two Justin Bieber shows (Dubai’s biggest ever selling concert), and Jason Derulo and Alicia Keys. 2014 kicked off with a sold out show by guitar legend Eric Clapton at Media City Amphitheatre.
2014 also saw Done Events also develop annual festival properties alongside headlining concerts. Kicking off with Virgin Radio’s RedFest DXB, the Middle East’s largest music festival, featuring The Lumineers, Jessie J, Rita Ora, Tinie Tempah, John Newman, Conor Maynard amongst others as well as world class DJ’s Mark Ronson and Zane Lowe. May saw the launch of another successful annual festival ‘Blended’ that featured an array of blues/roots/jazz/soul/folk artists, including Diana Krall, Elvis Costello, Joss Stone, Aloe Blacc and Maverick Sabre.
It’s not just live music that Done Events specialise in, the company has over the last few years brought an array of British comedy talent, including Michael McIntyre (winning the Time Out Award for Best Comedy award in the process) and Al Murray to perform to sold out audiences at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The 2014 comedy roster includes the recently announced John Bishop show, with more to follow.
